           We at Stephens City Mennonite Church strive to be rooted in Scripture, led by God, empowered by the Holy Spirit and formed by the deep welcome of Jesus.  We often fall short, and we seek to extend grace to each other as we’re on this journey together.  We acknowledge among us a diversity of perspectives, practices, and biblical interpretations.  We strive not for uniformity but for unity. We recognize the sacred worth and dignity of each person. Each one of us is made in the image of God, loved by God, and gifted by God to serve the church, our communities, and the world.
